Metropolitan Security & Investigation will provide Armed/ Unarmed Security
Officers.
Metropolitan Security & Investigation provides both internal and external security
for Industrial, Factories and Manufacturing Facilities. Often these sites have
access to rail heads for loading and unloading as well as truck docks and weight
scales which make constant surveillance essential.
Trucks, containers and delivery vehicles are monitored at arrival and departure
as well as logged & sealed when required.
Trucking lines carry valuable commodities, which have and continue to be highly
vulnerable to theft. Cargo theft deterrence has been an on-going challenge to our
industry. It has now become well understood that cargo theft is now a most
effective and lucrative method to finance terrorist activities (e.g. the recently
verified case of stolen cigarettes as a major cash source for terrorist activities).
The cash flow aspects of cargo theft are substantial, in calendar 2005.
Known terrorists and local criminals have used false identities to gain
employment and obtain various forms of identification, including CDLs. They
also rely upon lax enforcement of several areas of the law and lax maintenance
of government records to remain in the country and escape detection.
Improvement in the enforcement of several areas of the law could prevent, or
make it more challenging for, potential terrorists and criminals to use similar
tactics to gain access to the trucking industry.
