PATROL SERVICES

With  Law Enforcement Spreading Thinner and Thinner, our communities
have become aware and alarmed at the Situation. With Greater frequency
private security is being asked to fill some of the voids left by depleeting
ranks of Law Enforcement.

Many Security concerns, such as crime prevention and maintenance of
order are common to both private Patrol and Law Enforcement. This degree
of emphasis placed on these common concerns and functions provides a
distinguishing charactoristic between the two.

In theory the goal of Law Enforcement agencies is to prevent and reduce
crime, in practice most of their resources are spent for response rather than
the prevention of crime.

Metropolitan Security & Investigation on the other hand is primarily
concerned with Maintaining Order, Apprehending Criminals and enforcing
Laws within a Constitutionally and statutorily mandated criminal Justice
system.

Even though the provision of protective services to the public or private
sector is the basic difference between Law Enforcement and Private Patrol,
both often serve these sectors alike.

Metropolitan Security & Investigation has private unmarked patrol Units
specializing in security guard services.

The company was established to meet the high demands of Security in San
Antonio and surrounding areas.

Metropolitan Security & Investigation is a company that prides itself in
giving their customers fast, dependable and courteous service.

We focus on our clients "wants" and advise them on what they need to
provide a complete security solution.  We then provide a high quality of
service everyday at a very competitive price. We respond to all security
needs 24 hours a day.

Metropolitan Provides a Combination of Services (Standing & Patrol):
MSI provides both servcies,  Unlike other companies which sub-contract to
Guard Companies for standing Guards. We insure that our standing Guards
have instant communications with our dispatchers and Roving Supervisors.

Continious Communications between Officers and Roving Supervisors
gives the Standing Officers immediate assistence should a problem arise.

During Patrol Services, Our assigned Patrol Officers are on Site for a
minimum of fifteen minutes per patrol. If a problem is encountered, the
patrol Officer will remain on site for a reasonable amount of time in order to
resolve the problem.

The Following are some of the tasks completed by our patrol Officers:

a. Patrol Officers check on standing Officers on all shifts.

b. Enforcement of all trespassing, Loitering and Curfew Violations.

c. Site Searches for Prowlers and suspicious activity (use of Spotlight
illumination and foot Patrol).

d. Issuance of Parking Violation Notices.

e. Towing of Vehicles.

All our Patrol Officers are trained and Certified in the following Subjects: The
Use of Force, Use of Deadly Force and Firearms, Use of Baton, Use of OC
Chemical Agents, Legal Aspects of Security Services, Customer service,
Patrol Procedures, Report Writing, Radio Procedure, crises intervention and
Public relations.

All of our inhouse training is in addition to the Texas Security Board required
training classes and licensing which every officer must have completed
before becoming certified Commissioned Officers.
